![]() The failure of the session and the retreat to the meteor allows Sollux to continue his pessimism. All we know is that he had a new romantic relationship with Feferi which in turn got him a feud with Eridan. Over the course of Hivebent, not much spotlight is shone on Sollux. When he was first introduced in Hivebent, he struck me as a rather irritable individual, but given the individuals around him like rather-depressing-ghost-girl and constantly-angry-best-friend, his personality is understandable. The fact that he was constantly plagued by voices that prophesied doom probably didn’t help to improve his cheery disposition. Then Vriska broke Tavros’s legs, and Sollux ended up using his cool mind powers to toast his girlfriend. He had a girlfriend and cool mind powers and life was pretty good. I suppose there must have been this point in Sollux’s life where he was really happy and he socialized well with his friends. Sollux seems to have used his extra lives to amp up his pessimism. He has somehow contrived to stay alive despite his own confidence in his impending death. Despite being a Hero of Doom, it is actually incredibly hard to kill Sollux, given his two dreamselves. Sollux has the distinction of being the only Hero of Doom of any relevance. Sollux lives up to his Gemini symbol with his blue and red glasses, his double ii quirk (which doubles as a lisp), his black and white shoes, even his lusus the biclops! But these don’t really define Sollux’s personality, but rather his nature as a prophet and Mage of Doom. ![]() This thread is for discussing Sollux, and Sollux, and also Sollux. ![]()
